2007 - Tucson High Magnet School Commission:

This sculpture is the result of Paul being selected, through a competitive selection process initiated,
by the Tucson Magnet High School centennial class of 2007. The graduating class student council
selected Paul's design, and it was approved by the School's administration. One of the challenges
of this project was a requirement to have the mascot depict a lifelike badger while having powerful
stalwart human characteristics. Through his artistic abilities and craftsmanship, Paul was able to
satisfy these requirements.

2007 - Oro Valley Audiology, Inc. Commission:

Paul was selected to design and create a public work of art for a new construction in Oro Valley, Arizona. The patrons wanted an uplifting joyful work that would greet their customers. Paul was able to meet their requirement through a design that combines the beauty and happiness of a dancer and the uplifting joy of a tree. This celebration of life is invoked by her long hair reaching to the ground suggesting the trunk of a living tree, her uplifted arms as it's branches reaching for the blue sky and warmth of the sun celebrating the joy of life.       Return to top
