I created this bronze and steel sculpture series, “Wave Dancer 5: Wind Spirits”, after spending time on a ocean beach by Providence Rhode Island watching several people playing in the wind driven surf.
This work is a merging of stainless steel simulating the surf, and a bronze figure, with a blue patina, dancing in joy while enjoying the wind surf.
